Rep. Donalds Announces Water-Focused Tele-Town Hall with ACOE Col. James Booth

Congressman Byron Donalds (FL-19) announced a Tele-Town Hall taking place on Tuesday, September 21st at 7 PM EDT.

The Tele-Town Hall will primarily focus on water-related issues and policy. The 61st Cmdr. of the Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District Col. James Booth will join Rep. Donalds for this live event.

This Tele-Town Hall serves as an opportunity for the people of Southwest Florida to receive an update on Lake Okeechobee System Operating Manual (LOSOM), the current state of Southwest Florida’s waters, hear from leaders on the pathway moving forward, and ultimately for the people to share their concerns. Rep. Donalds and Col. Booth will both address participants and take questions.

“Since taking office, my goal has been to always be transparent on the issues that matter to the people of Southwest Florida, and there is no more important issue than preserving our waters,” said Rep. Donalds. I’m thankful to Col. Booth for joining me to provide insight and to share with the public updates and developments from the Army Corps of Engineers on water projects. I’m looking forward to sharing and discussing with participants my office’s legislative efforts to protect our waters for generations to come.”

Interested parties can join the live Tele-Town Hall by dialing 833-998-0906. The Tele-Town Hall will also be streamed for free online at donalds.house.gov/live.
